Is there a way to connect speakers to Dell ST2420L?

I am going to buy Dell ST2420L for my PC but there is a problem. I have an Xbox 360 too and I wish to play its games on that monitor but there seems to be no way to attach external speakers to the monitor. If anyone of you know how it can be done I would remain highly thankful to you. (bow)

Its a beautiful LED. Better than Samsung 24a350. Go for it I say. I've compared the two side by side. Unless, ofcourse, you can get BX series samsung, which is very unlikely.

Yes, you can connect speakers. Just connect the xbox via hdmi and connect 3.5mm of speakers to the monitor. Simple.


As for the OSD array, it works perfectly fine for me, and the many other dell owners here. Besides, how often do you change the cables and the settings?

Or if the OP intends to connect the monitor via VGA cable, then he can buy an RCA to 3.5mm adapter to connect speakers directly to the VGA HD Cable's 2 Yellow and Red RCA connectors. (I built it like this ).

Although through this way, headphones won't give you good sound cuz there ain't no amplifier on the crappy X360 AV port
