I'm thinking of ordering some speakers, Kef LS50 Wireless, but the problem is that these things cost 2300 USD and Telemart is selling them for 2 lakh which seems too good to be true. I've never ordered from them so any one with any experience buying from these guys?

Also called their help desk and the guy did say they had these in stock. If i do order from them i'll be paying 70k in advanced and paying them (with 16k insurance) the rest at their Main office.

Here's the link to the speakers: https://www.telemart.pk/kef-ls50-wireless-professional-studio-speakers-price-in-pakistan.html

Sounds too good to be true .also doesnot make sense paying anything in advance if the product is in stock with them . It is not like they have to import it if it is already in stock with them . Something seems very fishy to me .

Yeah they won't bring the speakers to their office unless i pay some money in advance first so it's definitely weird, especially if they're instock like you said.

Maybe they're actually out of stock and the helpdesk guy didn't thoroughly check whether these are in stock or not. Also could be old/outdated info and pricing before our rupee fell down the stairs but even then these should cost more!

Also they have the passive (cheaper) LS50 speakers for 90k when they retail for around $1300. Guess telemart is a fraudy retailer.

Telemart is reliable. They might have imported the speakers earlier.

You can also visit Desert Sound to check for prices (contact on FB first to get discount).

Telemart is legit man, their prices beating policy is amazing.. they must have had it imported earlier or sth but i have shopped with them (for smaller items ofcourse) and had no issues at all. God bless.

Naah i checked their site around 6 months ago and they didn't have those speakers in stock. Now they are and are selling for rs200,000 (1227 USD) when they're supposed to be selling for 2200USD. That's a massive difference in price.

Let's say they got these when PKR rate was decent (1usd = 100rs): even then they should cost rs 220,000 without shipping/import costs + profit which should be close to around 300,000rs. I'm no ecommerce expert but that's what i think.

I'm sure their service is great and all, but I don't trust most retailers with Kef speakers. Could be refurbished/used stuff for all I know.

Desert sound Don't have them in stock, not does digital sound. I would look into buying them if they gave me a 1 week time to return these and get a refund but they don't do that.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
