I would like to have a look
Good to hear. I'll list two which I've really read and one or two which are really popular among the Westerns.
1) Sirrul Israr by Huzoor Ghous-ul-Azam R.A

This one's a really short book around 200 pages. I didn't felt the need for a Sharah for this one but I did read a another one before that so don't really know if you'll understand this but imo it's okay, not that hard. Actual book starts from page 50 but it's definitely a worthwile to read the terms and their meaning used from page 40. This is gonna help a lot. And I'd advise reading these if you decide to go for Kashful Mahjub or any other Tasawwuf book first. You can buy it from dervishonline, another cheap one. Around 400 PKR.
2) Sharah Kashful Mahjub (written by Hazrat Ganj Baksh R.A, Sharah by Wahid Baksh Siyal R.A)

I'd recommend skipping the pages from 51-121, especially if you are not interested in reading how Hinduism and other religions have roots of Islamic Sufism/Tasawwuf in them. The first 50 pages consist of a more introduction to the whole Tasawwuf/Sufism thing, though it can also be skipped. The real book starts from 121. If you want you can read the original book without the Sharah (Tashreeh) as well but I'd really advise against doing so. This book can also be bought from sites like bookcorner.com.pk and faisalpublishers site for around 500 PKR. A really good book.
Now the ones popular among the Westerns are usually books on Maulana Rumi R.A and books written by Al-Ghazali R.A. Rumi R.A don't have any original books, he has poems. The only books are about his life. Haven't read Ghazali's books but this might be a good introductory book
The Alchemy of Happiness

The urdu version is much much bigger than the english version though. I think it includes portions from his other book as well. There are others as well but wouldn't say they'd be interesting as they are more on the Aadaabs of life and things to do/not to do etc. So wouldn't really be that interesting until you read the core part that's usually new to most people as nobody talks about that stuff.
In short, try starting from Sirrul Israr and Alchemy of Happiness as they are both short but introductory books.
If you aren't into reading, watching video lectures is another good way to get into it. Infact it's one of the easier way. There is only one person from Pak which really talks about this stuff. However if you or your family is sensitive to the Maulanas you should hear (u know, ppl don't like to hear the ones against there maslak etc), there is an english sheikh as well who is really well educated on these topics.
