is CANON SX30IS Worth Buying or Not???

The title shows it all and i wanna know that is Canon SX30IS digital Camera Worth 30k rs for slightly used with International Warranty...
I have 30K budget for Camera what other options do i have in this Budget for Camera Obviously DSLR...
What i find in this camera is 35x optical zoom which is Awesome and 14.1MP...and has good Look...
I hope u guys will help me Thanx in Advance...

It depends upon ur needs if u are serious about photography then go for DSLR.

well try finding good DSLR in 30k but if u fail then go for it

yaar dont try to get a DSLR in 30k ...They offer a lot but IMO DSLR term is over-rated.. I will highly doubt its quality and if u talk abt old models u can get 6 -8 mega pixel (thats not much), they have lesser features like 1600 or max 3200 ISO. VGA video recording or some even do QVGA.

u cant find that feature in 30 k dslr ... for dslr u should atleast 47 k budget

DX format having sensor size 23.6x15.8mm vs 6.17x4.55mm on sx40

DX format having sensor size 23.6x15.8mm vs 6.17x4.55mm on sx40
Wide range of Lenses
Full Manual focus
Long Exposure photography (Light painting)
Shoots in RAW
Resale

kar di na bachon wali baat :crying: if u are serious about photography then compare the sensor size and iso performance elseif u need just zoom to spy on people then yes sx30 is the right choice for you......one more thing on dslr u can use Zoom lenses from 55mm to 1600mm (approx 70x equals)
