Installing AMX Mod X for CS 1.6 (updated version of 2013)
AMX mod x makes server administration much easier and more!
Installing Metamod:
AMX mod x is a metamod plugin, so you must first install this. Go to amxmodx website (link), chose a mirror, and download metamod-1.21-am.zip. After that, extract it's content and move the folder named addons to the mod directory (e.g. cstrike).
Note: Please do NOT confuse mod directory with your root directory.
Installing AMX Mod X:
Download and extract amxmodx-1.8.2-base-linux.tar.gz (for Linux) or amxmodx-1.8.2-base-windows.zip (for Windows), then move these to the mod directory as well.
Once finished moving, In the mod directory, find liblist.gam and open the file with a text editor and then, replace these lines:

Save and exit.
Inside your mod directory (e.g. \cstrike\addons\metamod\), create a file called plugins.ini. To do this, open a text editor like Notepad and such. From the top-left menu, select "Files > Save As...", in the "Save as type:", chose "All Files" from the drop down menu and then name the file plugins.ini (.ini extension at the end of filename is must).

Pro tip: You can type notepad in the command prompt as well as in the Run (WIN+R).
In the plugins.ini, write the following lines:
Once again, save and close it.
Installing Counter-Strike mod files:
Download amxmodx-1.8.2-cstrike-linux.tar.gz (for Linux) or amxmodx-1.8.2-cstrike-windows.zip (for Windows), extract and overwrite the original "amxmodx" located in the "\cstrike\addons\" directory.
