This is actually the first review of custom GTX 1080 Ti. There is, however, one thing that should be mentioned. The sample given to Hexus is early preproduction unit. It lacks few features and the board is a pure reference design. So for instance, the retail unit will receive a DVI-D port. The review unit also does not feature 0dB technology. The outer two fans on retail units will turn off when the temperature dips below 46C, and the central fan will turn off when the temperature drops to 44C. This will definitely affect thermal specs of this model and could also affect boost clock, since custom fan profile will be applied.
The Inno3D GTX 1080 Ti is factory-overclocked to 1607/1721 MHz. This is even higher than ASUS STRIX OC. Inno3D also increased memory speed to 11408 MHz. The TDP was increased to 280W (+30W).
The overclocking potential of such a high factory-clocked model is moderate, but Hexus managed to add another 50 MHz, which means 1657/1771 MHz.

UzairAhmed Few months back we saw burning EVGA Pascal GPU so one can never say which brand is better or not
Inno3d is one of oldest n I'm sure for a flagship GPU they won't cheapout
I don't trust Pakistani perceptions, we r people who r happy with Mehran which is same for last 25yrs ... So I won't decide things based on our local market choices. I think inno3d knows how to make efficient coolers and this time also they have made an excellent package
Inno3D has been refining its iChill X3 cooler over the years and the result is essentially more of everything. Underneath those three 92mm fans, the copper GPU contact plate has been enlarged from 44mm x 40mm to 68mm x 68mm, and there are now five heatpipes connected to the block. As if that weren't enough, Inno then adds a second block to the 7+2-phase power components. Four heatpipes connect the two contact plates and the duo attaches to aluminium heatsinks that cover almost the full length of the card. In case you were counting, the number of fins has also increased from 123 to 140.
Baqi it's not a custom GPU, just a custom cooler on a reference 1080Ti PCB I think. If it's an urgency then getting inno3d over Founders Edition will be better option.

opethian you're right its the vanilla 1080Ti PCB with a custom cooler however I am also debating myself whether custom PCBs are going to make any difference or not kindly jump into the discussion going on here

Its not really urgent lol just bought Nintendo switch to keep my mind off the Ti till the custom models are shipped but then again seeing one readily available for the same price as the FW is very tempting

Donno i m lost!!
my personal experience with inno3d has been very poor. their fans and heat sinks are pathetic in terms of quality/ performance. i've used inno3d 6600GT and 9800GT. had to change the fan on 6600 and 9800 died on me due to excessive heating.

more recently someone i know had a 780 from this brand. once again the heat sink and its fan was very cheap looking. i would not touch this brand no matter what.

i wont judge something in 2017 based on its performance back in 2003/04 ... there was a time when EVGA was one of the best but last year we saw even that brand failing with their cooler design ... nothing can be certain about any brand, its all about silicon lottery n then some luck
Inno3d ichill x3 has earned some good reviews from various websites one of them being this

n then there is X4 version also ... which has even better cooling performance

Guys i want to show you the Ti situation in China check them prices out lol

They are mostly sold out and funny part is that even though FE are the same but Asus FE is going for 6500 MSI 6000 Gigabyte 6000 Zotac 5700 and colorful 5700 which is insane compared to 4850RMB (700$) but then again its the same problem everywhere else in the world with high taxes and all

The Gigabyte Auros extreme just launched today and in most of the stores its sold out I dont know about this one though but its going for 6400RMB [emoji53][emoji53] its very expensive this time around indeed.

here's the MSI Ti gaming X review from guru3d.com which to me is one of the most trusted and reliable source out there...and I was right about the fact that these extra phases and what not will not help you that much for Pascal thermals are very very important if you keep them in check you can go past 2.0 and anything beyond like 2033-2054 or whatever is the silicon lottery.

There's one thing that has put me off about the card that is coil wine...otherwise its a nice card and I can actually get it in a few days if I order now for 6000RMB = 870$ =91465RS approximately
