Hello guys,

I have a DH55TC motherboard and 6870 GPU. Now the problem is that for some reason everything after working well for some time fails the very next time. Meaning, when I work on my PC and shut it down, the next time I open it there is NO display. I change the connector from GPU to On board display and it works. Then after sometime the On Board displays does not come after switching on pc and then I have to switch to GPU. And it works again but this cycle goes on. Sometimes both of them does not work.

No problems with CPU. Drive works, Hard Drive LED is blinking. Things are fine in background but display is causing real issues.. What shall I do? Is it a Board issue? Please help

Most probably, its a PSU issue. Switch on the power from main socket but do not turn on your PC for 5 minutes. Try booting after 5 minutes.

Beside above trick, try the following :

1. Disconnect and reconnect all connection properly
2. Loosen motherboard screws to make sure its not causing any contact or earth with casing.
3. Remove Rams, clean them carefully, and put back. Also swap them with each other.
4. Try a different PSU if you have one.
5. Remove HSF, the chip, reseat it well and install the fan properly.
6. Change battery cell of your motherboard.

But had it been a PSU issue why is the CPU working all OK? Wouldnt it mean that PSU is providing power to board causing CPU to work but the issue comes with display. Ill try the above trick but I think I have possibly tried everything..
