Htc Amaze 4G Update

Hello guys i have bought today new Htc Amaze 4g trying to update it's old Android Version to new jelly bean but this message pops up when i check for the update "There are no Updates for ur phone" :crying: kindly help me thanks

Unlock your bootloader and flash stock t-mobile rom and yeah there is no jelly bean on it only ics

The only solution is to root your phone and install a custom rom.

guys thanks for the reply basically phone is quite handsome so i love it specially camera,screen and body so decided i'll w8 may be one day its update will come and don't want to take any risks :wink2:

Official rom is out on xda if u really want ics on your ruby get that cream

Unlock the bootloader, Root your phone, install CWM, flash CM10.1

Now you have the latest version of Android (well... not latest...)

What does official means? T-mobile is only for t-mobile variants

Believe me it will never update officially. I used this phone over one year but no update. to install custom rom is very diffcult on htc amaze because many other factors involve (S-OFF) etc. i also tried a lot on this set but finally gave up. jst enjy this set on old android. look in to xda forum. you will got lot of stuff about it.

Official release is out but not on OTA u have to do it manually on s-on but i dont think there is need for ics

there is no official update available for asian version of htc amaze4g. official update only for tmobile htc amaze 4g

You've bought the asian version of the phone. There is no official update to ICS for this version of HTC Amaze 4G. In order to get a custom rom on it you have to unlock bootloader, perform S-Off and SuperCID. It is a slightly complex and tricky process overall. I would advise against messing with your phone if you are new to this and just enjoy gingerbread.
