How you guys have paid application fee for foreign universities?

I want to know from those who have been in foreign universities , how they have paid their application fees. In one CA university application fee is to be paid by VISA or Mastercard. Now my question is that, a person has to use what type of bank account in Pakistan... so that he can pay his application fees to foreign unviersity.... In my case I needed a credit card, so yeah credit cards ka account say to koi taaluq nahin hota :-/
If you're applying with the help of a consultant, then you can pay them cash and they can pay with their credit card themselves.

I paid my university through a bank draft. Made it through H & H Money Exchange. I think its the cheapest way.

My university was adding a 1.5% surcharge through a credit card.

Yar application fees zyada tar sirf credit card say he pay hoti hain. Even UBC, the university he has applied to clearly states so in the above given link

Depends on the university. There are normally three methods:

1) Debit Card/ Credit Card
2) Paying by Bank Draft
3) Paying through your consultant, if you have one.

When I applied to Nottingham I used option 1 and 3, 1 is best, since its quick. You can securely pay online. I have an SCB Debit card, so not sure which other cards work since SCB's online support is one of the best in PK.

The account type is irrelevant as long as you have a Debit/Credit Card

So debit and credit is can be used it uni asks for credit card only...
