How to detect "Rev B" network of evdo in an area

Hi i just borrowed a friends evdo to test at my place. its giving me bout 180k max dl with avg bout 160k.

I want to know how can i check if the signals in my area are rev B or not ? any ideas ?

while connected through wifi open the admin page [192.168.1.1] in browser, and check if your
device is working on EVDO mode or CDMA.

thanks but when i open 192.168.1.1 in my chrome it gives me following error

Google Chrome could not load the webpage because 192.168.1.1 took too long to respond. The website may be down, or you may be experiencing issues with your Internet connection
Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The operation timed out.

but i can change to evdo in my device ---> options ---> network
so does that mean its rev B ?

just to update i was using evdo usb not wifi.
Today i got the 3g nitro usb (red and black) under the new promo for 6k with first 3 months free. its software is slightly different to that of the white evdo 3.1 usb i used earlier. there is Rev B written next to the signal indicator in this software.
also this usb showing me 5 signal bars whereas the white one showed me 3 signals in my room.

tested speed 680k max on blizzard downloader of wow
550k max on steam dl
4.1MB on www.speedtest.net

avg speed is around 500-600k
havent tested fully with torrents yet will update
