from which bank did you get the VISA Debit Card from ?

You should know that you cannot shop online just by getting the VISA Debit Card .. The issuing bank needs to support online shopping too .. :wink2:

Well my 12 years experience of Banking says one things and that is WHAT EVER CARD IN DEBIT FORM , WHETHER IT'S London based or Newyork Based. It does not work on INTERNET

For using a debit card on net. Citi bank offers E-card . For the foreign based banking materials. They banks gets a verification and if the user is in PAKISTAN and the card is UK based, they how the heck will it work !!!!!

Hope this clears out the confusion.

I'm surprised that people who have bought stuff from PSN haven't told him the truth.

@ ahmad434
You can't buy stuff directly from PSN. It does not matter which sort of card you have. No debit or credit card issued in Pakistan can be used to buy stuff from PSN. Your only option is to buy US PSN cards which are available on play-asia and some other sites. Then you can use that card to buy stuff from US PSN store.

You cannot buy stuff from PSN with a Pakistani Credit/Debit card if thats what you are asking.

Secondly im sure for standard chartered if you want to buy something online from yesasia.com or play-asia.com then you have to activate the Online facility by calling them at their customer service number.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
