i am intermediate student and study in islamia college peshawar in 1st year
im doing gs1 means studying physics maths and computer science
now i dont know what to do what subject do i have to give more focus than other subjects
and what type of entrance exam will be there for software engineering i dont know please somebody guide me completely
becuase i have to do software engineering and please also tell me about the scope of software engineerning in pakistan and other countries ???

Scope of software engineering & software development is good in Pakistan as well many western / middle-east countries. It is a competitive field and one MUST always have desire to keep learning more & more in order to grow in this field. That is very very important point.

Right now you should focus on your intermediate and try to get maximum marks (in order to get admission in a good university).

Entrance test will be general IQ, English, math question. Nothing much specific to software engineering its self. So you should not worry about it right now.

If you want to learn coding on your own (just as a hobby), then code academy is best website for it.

But as I said, right now your focus should be getting good marks in FSC and then getting admission in good univ (based on FSC marks). Rest will come easier to you, so no need to worry too much about it

i did their ACCP PRO(3 years) while i was a student in 10th (Olevels)
then i did one year in a university and got a BCS degree before i even started Alevels
Did a 7 month internship in Axact as well

Yes. [MENTION=134241]geniusmaniacs[/MENTION] he is right. Indeed Aptech is the best way to learn the coding and almost all the Pakistan Companies respect their students and their degree.
But, No one can teach you the coding unless you have the thirst or desire.
I also take the part in Aptech. because it was my dream to became the most successful programmer. since i was a kid i use to saw the movies where hack hacked the whole server in seconds and loved them.
Anyways, when i was in Second semester of Aptech, i Almost completed all my coding skills and leave aptech.
Because i have learned all the frameworks of PHP, ASP.Net, small biut of Java and other Languages.
In my opinion you should start with Front-End, Learn HTML/Css/Js and focused on PHP..One of my friend is making 1.8 Lacs per month. and he only know PHP and Wordpress.

Hope you find your path and never get distracted. Always follow you passion. Try your best. and ALLAH will help you.

DO NOT waste your time in Aptech.
the one year in a university for bcs is a scam because u only get admission in institutes like newport/dadabhoy
go for a proper university degree.

you MUST do Inter or A level before proceeding towards a valuable BCS degree.

My kid brother was also just about to be bluffed by Aptech but i got the reality checked before hand and has admitted him to complete his Intermediate before even thinking about any thing else forcefully.
these Aptech courses are of no use to you. They won't get you recognition.

Here is the thing kid, if you have interest in this field ,Start calling it Computer science, Software engineering deals with managing teams e.t.c
. Now Subjects !
Kid, Maths, Maths , Maths , Maths....
If you want to get big, Mathematics and Probabilities should be given more Importance ! So those books you did "Raata" in Matric and FSC better Start Understanding them logically!Won't help you much in entry test but if you love creating games then Geometry related stuff vertex will be needed to be programmed in C++.


There are thousands of Videos on Youtube related to programming such as C++, Java etc but learning only one will help you understand all the Languages,
Why I am saying Maths ? Dude For your final year Project, Mathematics will be the only thing which will help you do crazy stuff , other than maths programming is not the difficult !
