How much is the bill of PTCL 8mbs DSL in Islamabad with taxes/line rent and everything

Hey guys I am thinking of upgrading my current PTCL 4mbs dsl ( freedom package) to 8mbs dsl with fiber optic now my question is how much the bill will be with taxes? one guy told me 3k , one told me 3.4k and one told me 3.8k it seems everybody has different bill they're charging some less and some more cause I am paying like 2,300rs for my current net and one of my friend is paying 1700rs only ( hes in ISB too ) I am aware that taxes depend on the region you're in now I want someone who is using 8mbs ptcl dsl currently in Islamabad to tell me how much bill he is paying , will they take any charges from me to upgrade? if so how much? , what about switching from copper line to fiber optic any extra charges for that??? will I've to call them them to upgrade or go to their franchise?


& please stick to the questions of post & don't give me suggestions like go to Nayatel or anything like that I've my reasons

Well there were few promotion offers in which 4mbps user had been upgraded to 8mbps and they were charged on 4mbps .. same goes for 2mbps to 4mbps ....

How much were they charged? & what do you mean by promotion offer??? my friend told me ''they said no promotions going out right now '' does that mean I won't have to pay for the upgrade? & any idea how much bill will be of 8mbs dsl including line rent and tax ???

it was far much much better to just dial 1218 from your landline or mobile and ask the helpline guy to tell you the total cost you will have to pay for the 8mbps connection rather than creating a thread and waiting for hours to check if someone's reply satisfies you. you will be confused again if 2 or more people tell you the same story as your friends did. i.e. one guy pays 1700 and the other guy pays 2400 and so on.

PTCL Double-up promotion comes out from time to time in which they upgrade 2mbps to 4mbps & 4mbps to 8mbps for few months with out any additional charges.... when that offer expires the customer can either stay on upgraded speed and pay for that package or can go back to their original package and pay what he was paying earlier...
PTCL 8mbps charges are 3025/month without line rent and Tax & (Rs.2000 installation charges one time payment) with line rent and tax it will be around 3600/month approx.

I'm in Pindi, but when I had 8 Mbps, I was paying approx 3600 a month, keep in mind I was also on the freedom package since the 1236 guy said that you need to be on freedom package to get 8 Mbps. (Never heard that one before).

Dont know why but i am getting around 2540Rs since last 2 months for 8mb used to get 3526Rs before that

It seems they've changed the prices of the net but are charging some people the bill of the old bill and will have to call them to get it fixed

Guys I called on 1218 they said your request has been sent and your net should be upgraded to 8mbs after 48 hours I hope it does upgrade to 8mbs after 48 hours without going to their franchise bar bar cause when first time when I applied for 4mbs dsl he said we'll install after 2 days and 5 days passed and they didn't install it then I went with reference and they installed it on the same day btw is there any charges from switching from copper to fiber???

from copper to Fiber/ONU line you will be having a totally new connection with a new number as old copper landline numbers cannot be on ONU line so they will charge you 2000 extra as a new connection.

well around 3500/-

well there was promotion offer for 4mbps user's that they will be upgraded to 8mbps .. It was free for first 2 months and for next 2 months it was abit more and after that they will be charging full 8mbps price...... there was also promotion for 2mbps to 4mbps ..

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
