How do I recoverr data from a dead laptopp (HDD is fine)

If its a sata HDD you can install it in the PC as SATA HDD of laptop has exact same connector as of PC. If its an IDE drive you will require IDE to USB converter. Usually that converter comes with sata, PC IDE and laptop IDE. so u can use it with every thing

Get this cable it will come with a power adapter too. I hope its english for u now
So what u will do is connect your HDD to this cable and then plug in as a usb drive on the working laptop.
This is called Sata to USB converter cable. Costs around 500-650 PKR and available in PC accessories store pretty easily now.
