How do i play cs online??

ok i have worldcall decided to finally try cs online so what do i need i have cheating death and have downloaded 1.6 ka 23version update which was probably the latest so what else wuld i need to play and how do i connect to worldcall servers and lastly should i update cs with the 23 version i mentioned above|!?!?!??!?!

err... all i do is click online instead of lan. a list of servers will appear in seconds.

idk, the version hosted on my cablnet`s ftp works fine for me.

Dude go to favourites tab and add worldcall servers manually. Go to wordcall's website and udher ip hongi woh add karlo.

P.S Worldcall servers r on internet, not on LAN.

It's not necessary to install the cheating death on your machine, as not every server use it..anyway you don't even need any special upgrade to play online, I didn't tested the Worldcall server, as they ask you to get register on their forums first..

I found MBL 3G CS server quite simple and fast..

and they also ban people with 200 + latency
so thats y i play on Maxcom, gurmander etc

what exactly does latency represent in CS anyway ? never been able to figure that out..

isnt ping and latency the same thing ? its the response time of your connection. a ping of 50ms means youre getting responses every 50 milliseconds. stable 400ms works great for everything but fps.

^ yep you are correct, and it depends on:

- The distance between you and the CS server
- The speed of your internet connection and the speed of the CS servers internet connection
- Your computers hardware and the CS servers hardware
(not much..but still it do)

And if you have a DSL connection then the distance between you and the phone company i-e PTCL can make a big difference.
