nah ,thats bulls**t :crap:Lies:
you can go for 965RY ,and pal are you running webserver or sumthing, why are you are going for 250GB just buy an 160GB HDD , and for the ram dont just go for 667mhz buy 800mhz's the 1GB Corsair 800 mhz will cost you around 6k now ,and one more thing i would like to ssay that dont go for philips monitor they sucks just buy samsumg 17" ( 740n ) ,
Samsung is the king of monitors ,and it will also cost you less i think around 12k , (2t) ,, and the last thing ,,, dont buy any of the graphic card for now if you are low in money , cuz 965RY's builtin card is directx 9 compatible , and if you are planning to buy with a graphic card go for 8800 GTs or 8800 GTX cuz all other G80 series .......just sucks""" :)p) only 128 bits
dont go for them
Good luck :GL:

HEY if you want to make a point be respectful while conveying your thought....

Secondly hardrive space has nothing to do with running a server for superlative he just wants to store alot of things sdo he wont have to upgrade his hd for a couple years i have 1x160gb and 1x250gb and i dont have a server.but i agree with youre other points so good job

you have a serious issue here... your power supply doesn't have enough power to even turn on your PC with graphics card attached... get 500W+ PSU

"Graphics card : XFX 8600GTS but shop guy says buy MSI (confused) wat

what are the model numbers...???

rig is awesome... the mobo still tickles me, but overall it is OK... get corsair 2x512 MB(800Mhz bus), it is cheaper and faster... don't forget to remove the speed limiting jumper on HDD... cool, but samsung is cheaper and faster, don't know about quality though... cool.... good add an exhaust (usually at the back of CPU) and intake (usually beneath HDD) fan... awesome.. this is a bad ass card, prpbably best in 8600GTS enjoy...

u could install any Boot magic software for easiness.... if i had 320GB i'll reserve 20GB for XP, 40GB for vista, 5GB for page file/swap files, 155GB for music and movies rest for games

i can give you vista ultimate edition for installation...

check intel.com frequently for updates....

ok don't worry kingston is fine... your board is nice, but remember no tweaks or overclocking... SATA HDDs are equipped with a jumper (by default) which limits sata controller's speed (sata-150 for old systems). but your system supports sata 300, so remove your HDD's jumper

the jumper is located at the back side... near power and sata cable on HDD

IEEE is some kind of fast communication port... we don't need it

IEEE is known as the FIREWIRE and its just like the USB port
IN firewire you can connect upto 256 peripherals but the newer USB 2.0 ports can do that too

Actually the FIREWIRE.........is just not so popular
