John Best, chief technology officer of Hitachi's global storage technologies unit, predicted that the new nanometer recording technology will eventually enable the disk drive manufacturer to expand the capacity of desktop disk drives to 4TB, and of notebook computer drives to 1TB.

2011 if still far away! and radd is right, nothing will change, everything is getting bigger and bigger. (HD Vidz/Porn xD, Games, Apps, Files, OS's etc etc etc)

DVDrip porn, blu-ray-rip porn, HD-DVDrip porn YAY!!!! :yay: oh yes I forget about games and softwares too :D now one will not even need to burn the stuff on DVDs for saving space..that much space will be more then enough for majority of peoples (not talking about geeks)..

anyway these drives will cost a lot at the start :S

^ how come you have passed your math class? do you know that 4TB = 4,000GB ?? :p so you can store much more porn hrs then only 50hrs :D in case of your 50GB/1.5hr calculation..

Now we are talking like real porn geeks here hahahaha...
