in 17 inch gateway p7811fx is best bang for buck having 9800m gt.if you want to game on laptop then go for smaller screen as mobile gpus are really weak and for your dv7 it has 9600m gt which bearly manages 1280*800.in other words for 17 inch never get lower than 9800m series.

with that high range, you should just buy a new one. Try Alienware.
There is also an ASUS one priced at under $1000 with Nvidia GPU, I saw it in an online add in Gamespot or Gamespy.

boss i doubt u will find a decent enough 17inch gaming lappy , try some of the online stores , shophive , belliscity they have some decent laptops .

but they are quite expensive and there performance is ok , consider a price for a hp dv7 series to start from 130,000 upwards .

i saw that asus laptop ad, it isnt good enough, lyk i said b4 about gateway p7808u...its has quadcore pro n better grafix card....
