Hello,

I have a Qubee Shuttle (this one), and since it is a USB plug and play only solution I was wondering is there any way through which I can connect multiple devices with it? Right now I connect it to my Laptop and enable its hotspot to be able to use its internet on my mobile phone but it requires me to keep the Laptop on all the time which is extremely inconvenient. What should be the best solution for this? I need something which also has the option to through my SIM card and use its internet as well when Qubee is not working or not around for some reason.

Thanks.

A 3G capable router would work I assume.

I think Qubee operates on the 3.5GHz (or 1.9GHz) band.
Either way, makes no difference.

Plug the USB into a router, set up your SSID etc and make sure the settings to connect to Qubee servers and reboot the router.

I'll explain in detail if you need further help.

It shows 3.45 GHz frequency. Would Zong 4G device work? Or any other you may recommend under 5k range.

You want to use the Zong 4G device as a router? Or as a replacement for your Qubee device entirely?

Nope, I saw this ad about unlocked Zong 4G device so I was wondering would it work, if at all? Cannot replace shuttle; my company pays for it.[emoji14]

Your SIM card will work in a Zong device, Qubee will NOT.

Qubee requires a 3G/4G capable router.
With a:
1) USB Slot for the Qubee device
2) SIM card slot for your mobile network

Oh shit, I forgot to mention, the ones I was thinking about needed a constant power supply.
I'll find some rechargeable ones.

murtaza12 - lol just plug and play? No settings required, what? :D Btw, I thought it will have some slot to insert the SIM card but no, it does not and requires a USB modem to be able to use mobile data. :( Does the portable one has it?

Yes, the shuttle works just fine without any configuration at all but I cannot use my SIM card's internet because it does not have any option to insert the SIM card.

I think only the newer TP Link devices have that option.
By newer, I do also mean newer revision of the same product.

I got the latest version 2,0 which is compatible with 4G LTE modems. The literature that comes with it suggest SIM card can be used WITH a USB modem.

Well that's dumb. I could've sworn I saw a picture of a device with a SIM card slot at the back.
