I have a Connect Communications DSL connection, and I want to setup a wifi network around my house for use on laptops, phones etc. I looked on the Connect website FAQ's, and this is what it had to say about setting up wifi:

Can I use WiFi with Connect Communications?

Yes, you can use WiFi with Connect Communications services, but you are advised to contact your local dealer or Connect Communications' technical support before installing or provisioning any WiFi access point. The most recommended type of WiFi access point is "Bridge Mode", since they are low in cost and does not require any specific settings, in fact they are almost plug and play type.

The access point with "Routing Mode" are the one, which cause problem and requires specific settings. The unguided installation of such access point can cause outage in service not only for you but also for users in closer proximity of your location.

However, Connect Communications reserves the rights to temporarily or permanently deactivate or disable service for a user causing problem by installing "Routing Mode" access point on connect network.
What devices do I need for setting up a wifi network on bridge mode? A router? Any specific ones? Can anyone guide me through the procedure for using Bridge mode for setting up wifi around my house? Step by step instructions or any other type of info you have will be appreciated.

P.S.: Yes, I will contact the Connect guys, but only after I take some info from here, just in case they try and convince me to drop the idea and pay for a second wired DSL connection.

1) Connect to you modem Manually
2)Open Modem Setting (http://192.168.1.1)
3)Make a New Connection or Edit the Present one--(Id Say goto to quicksetup and make a new one)
4)Enter The VPI and VCI Values accordingly and follow steps ----You can let DHCP assign you automatic IP's
5)Select Bridge Mode and Finish Setup

--------------------------------Note: After this Your Internet will not work Unless you make a broadband Connection or Use a Router--------------------------------------------

6)Insert the WAN cable coming out of your Modem into your Router and either connect wirelessly or Through Cable to the router
7)Once Connected to the router open the Router Setup Page (http://192.168.1.1)
Goto Quicketup and either select auto detect or manually click on PPPoE
9) Follow Steps and Enter username and Password provided by PTCL
10) Give it some time to connect--TP-Link usually does take a bit time to connect at first ( This only happens when you connect the first Time)

The advantage of using this method is that you can port forward directly from the router instead of going into the modem everytime.
