help neede FLash MX v6

hi friends
if anyone know about Action Script 1 then he can help me

the problem is i cant plus two values . when i try to plus two numbers then result show some thing like ( see below)

1 + 1 = 11 not 2

i am using this script

on (release) {
result = text1+text2;
}

when i try same method to Multiply, Divide or Minus any two numbers then result comes out correct. i am having problem only with plus.

i am also posting my swf file check it out and plz guide me

i havent worked much in flash, but im pretty sure the problem you are having is that the two values you have are text not integers.. search online on how to define them as integers and it should work fine..
