OK this thing is getting frustrating like anything that I want to smash my iPod on the floor, u guys cant believe how god damn angry i m!! So lemme break down what really is happening!!

Tried to update to iOS 5 directly from iPod tunes, gets stuck at 500 MB mark and says internal error, googled it and it said that internal error is caused if the fuckin Apple servers are busy, i tried this like 3-4 times and everytime it stops at 500 MB (and since m using a limited connection, 2 GB are wasted here)

Googled some more and learned that we can manually update it as well, i was like yaay, so i downloaded the update file, so far so good, copied it in the relevant folder and clicked update, but wait ERROR 3002...... -_-

googled some more and it said that we should click on restore instead of update, did that and this time ERROR 3194!!!!!!!!!!! Now what the hell is wrong here???? Help me out m really frustrated right now!! Thanks btw m using iPod Touch 3rd Gen.

erro 3194 is not a biggi. its usually some proxy error in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
you need to make little changes

make sure you are the administrator and drivers can be easily installed...

The problem i am facing it's jailbreaking it... It just applies the patch, then says waiting for reboot and iPod boots on normal... Redsnow just keeps waiting...

I am not able to jailbreak it yet...
