Headphone suggestion required

Please suggest good comfortable headphones for watching tv shows etc
I had been using RX 700, now using brainwav HM5 which are fine though but its holder keeps breaking ever since I bought this piece of sh*t
I have gotten it repaired a 1000 times, so want to move to a better one, not too expensive though but brand new only that I can purchase directly from a shop not something that I have to get shipped from karachi as the experience has been a very horrible one.

Also some how earphones dont work with the 3.5mm extension, why is that so??

I can manage budget but dont want to spend too much on headphones. it depends how good the headphone is
I tried different earphones but somehow they dont work fine with the extension

I found the thread but seems it isnt getting any replies, also i got suggestion of HM5 from that thread xD

try looking out for Audio Technica ATH M50x or M40x these are closed back headphones or Sony's/Sennheiser Headphones.
