Go to Hogwarts in the 1800s on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X, and PC




Harry Potter fans will study witchcraft and wizardry at Hogwarts School in Hogwarts Legacy, an open-world adventure game coming soon for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Announced during Wednesday’s PlayStation showcase, fans were introduced to Hogwarts in the 1800s, where they will play a student “who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart.”
The game’s official site promises that players will “discover the feeling of living at Hogwarts as you make allies, battle Dark wizards, and ultimately decide the fate of the wizarding world.” They will be faced with good-versus-evil choices along the way as they resolve Hogwarts Legacy’s central conflict.
Avalanche Software, is developing Hogwarts Legacy for Warner Bros.’ Portkey Games, the label for Harry Potter video game adaptations. No specific launch date was given in Wednesday’s announcement.

I remember playing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix game which was based on the movie. It was different and amazing. You actually have to make effort to cast correct spells with mouse and not just switch and click.
If the gameplay is anything like that then it will be awesome.

    You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
