hard disk recovery help

my laptop fell onto the floor a few days ago and was in a recovery boot loop.i got my disk replaced but i have data on the old disk ive tried putting the old disk in a usb enclosure so i can copy data using it as a slave drive but the issue is that
1)windows doesnt let me access the drive but it shows the drive letter
2)it says the drive needs to be formatted before it can be used ,(that will kill the purpose of the data recovery in the first place)

if anyone has any ideas on how i can recover my data please let me know

try the tool mentioned above, if it does not solve the issue. do not mess with the drive, it may corrupt or worsen the drive.
