Could anyone tell me what is the difference between the Steam key and the Social Club key?

And if buying the social club key is a good idea?

Anything to be aware of while buying this specific social club key?

Pros and Cons?

Kindly if you could just quote me while replying it would be awesome.

Steam launches RS Social club to start the game anyways. Steam version has achievements if you care for those. Other than that i don't think there is any difference. Both Steam and RSSC buyers can play with each other no problem at all.

Are you sure about this? Absolutely no difference other than the one you posted?
And thank you for replying :)

Yes there is one minor difference but it's just for convenience.

If you buy the RSSC version you obviously won't have the steam feature to "join friend". E.G you can open your Steam friend list in the in-game overlay and just rightclick your friend and click "Join game" and it will connect you to the server your friend is playing at. In RSSC version you will have to join your friends through invite though the social club client.

Also for Steam version steam has those playtime tracking features and screenshot sharing etc, which are the standard Steam features. If you have a good friend list on Steam then it's better to get the game on Steam imo.

If you're more of a community guy then buying games on Steam is the best option, because the software has a set of handy tools such as capturing screenshots, in-game Steam overlay, friendlist etc.

Otherwise you can go with RSSC, but honestly, there's no major difference because ultimately RS games will launch from their client regardless of which version you have.
