Graphic card repair shop in karachi?

Asalam U Alaikum,

I bought inno 3d 6600 GT pci express alomost 2 years ago for 12500 rupees:crying: , it was faboulas card but after a year suddenly something happen to it, and now it shows only garbbled and currupted picture:crying: ,
my question is do any one knows from where can i repair it in karachi?

I can not post screen shot now because when i use this card it also hangs the computer so i have not used for around 6 months,
if it is irrepareable then which card will you prefer me to buy in the region of 5000 to 6000.

well don't get a 6K card, it will not run many games.
Save a bit, get upto 10K and get 6800 it will run most games including

Well, I don't think so that you any graphic card repair service is available here, mostly the dukkan wala charge you but then in the end they will say that it's not repairable..and from the error which U told in you post..I don't think so someone can repair it..it's better to sell it and U will get few hundreds of rupees!

And yeah Devil is right, atleast buy RS 7000+ card else U will feel that U have wasted your money..get the 7600GS I think it cost is around RS 7000 for PCI version

i think maybe some power failures( which are common these days) may have caused the card to courupt it self...dont worry..things like these happen...but if you spend atleast 7 to 8000 Rs you'll get a card 5 times as powerful!!!

but there are some question about that as well.
1) which one is better Inno3d or xfx
2) how good is GeForce 7300GT 256MB (128-BITS) for 5800
3) how good is GeForce 7600GS 256MB (128-BITS) DDR-II for 6900

Yeah it kind of happened to me too. I bought my Geforce BFG 5900 from abroad. It worked fine for about a month or so but then all the colors went weird. The thing i overlooked was the power supply. i was using a 250 watt power supply while it requires a min power supply of 300 watt.

In short get what ever card you want but at least get a power supply which meets your card's min requirements. I would recommend you to get 7600GS.

7600GS is better..... but still i recommend to at least double the budget.... XFX cards are better and usually they have most attractive bundle... just don't buy 8500 or 8600GT

If MSI cards are available in Karachi then go for it.I m using 7600 GS and it is great.MSI always have some advanced features installed in the cards and they perform well.

I recommended XFX or MSI, XFX is easily available in karachi and buy the 7600GS DDR-II it's much better and will fulfill your majority of gaming needs

PS: Desolator made a very nice point, make sure that your curreny PSU (power supply unit) is capable of providing power to all your components in your PC! I recommended you a Cooler Master or Asus 500W PSU (but it deends on your system components..post your PC specs here and we will guide U more)

I think 8500 is for about 7500 or 8000 it's good to have rather then 7600GS

well i bought new power supply last month which is 450 watt, my earlier pwr supply was 300 or 350 watt from which i was using 6600 gt card, i suppose it was the main culprit behind this card failure, i think 7600gs will be a good choice.
my system specs are 1 gigz of ddr, p4 3.0 giga HT, motherboard with pci express slot.

Hoon...with these spec 450 W PW is enough.Beginner u mentioned that 8500 results are disappointing yar for casual gamers this card is much better than 7600 GS.They love to have DX10 and Shader 4.0 in their machine.

@gameboy: from your above specs a 450W PSU is fine..go buy the card then and enjoy the gaming

i think 8500 is a better choice as you'll get more features unlocked through it. One thing though you won't be able to play it at higher resolutions. I would recommend on buying a 8500 instead of getting 7600gs

yar 8500's price is same as 7600gs so why not buy it? it supports dx10 as well.
so looks like a good buy. resolution is not that important for me bcz i think most gamers want to play games with whatever settings or resultion. if it supports all games then i think it should be must buy.
