That's the problem with 360's Gamma settings. Digital Foundry has same difference in gamma between PS3/360 screens.

See GTA V shit on Watchdogs from above especially in term of critical reception and success. Watchdogs will be a huge downgrade from the original reveal, it is almost as overhyped as a GTA game but GTA V is actually a much better product than GTA IV.

Every GTA game have extreme metacritic rating so I am not sure if you can use metacritic rating to determine the "supposed" superiority of GTA V over another (inferior) GTA game; forget the competition.

Fact is that Watch Dogs is lot more innovative and realistic than any GTA game released till date in "gameplay aspects." For more information, check Watch Dogs.

GTA V is fun oriented; Watch Dogs is realism oriented.

Also, the so-called compromises on visual treatment will not be significant on PC version at least, thanks to involvement of NVIDIA in this matter.

You are calling Watchdogs a unique game while it is basically Assassins Creed meets Persons of Interest. Anyways, this thread is not to discuss Watchdogs but i can understand why PC gamers tend to get angry whenever it is bashed :tv:

Pay a stripper a few dollars and you can have a private lap dance(Uncensored) in this room . You can do stuff like touch her or change views etc and she has a bar that shows how much she likes you. Dunno what is the purpose of this, i haven't bothered with this stuff much since it is not to my liking

GTA is universally praised and loved game but with GTA IV, it spiked a lot of controversy since the game was nowhere the level and quality of the older games but it also ended up being the highest rated one in the series. With GTA V, Rockstar has gone back to the roots of the series and made it much more fun and better than the turd a.k.a GTA IV. If the comments so far and our personal opinion is doing nothing for you, i don't know how to convince you that this one is not overrated and Rockstar has actually listened to the fan criticism this time around and fixed many of the issues that plagued GTA IV.

You can quote me on that the Vanilla version of WatchDogs won't be able to match the visuals shown in the reveal demo. This is basically what Ubisoft does for each of their game reveal. Show a highly detailed and beautiful world and the final game ends up a gimped up version for it. WatchDogs isn't even out yet and all we have heard so far is the impressions and previews and the disappointment regarding the visual downgrade is spot on here since Ubisoft tried to sell the game on visuals.

I find it funny that PC owners get butt-hurt whenever someones bashes/mentions WatchDogs especially if comparing it to GTA V. It's not like WatchDogs is coming exclusively to PC :tv:

Comments such as "WATCH_DOGS R.I.P" are immature at this point because this game haven't been released yet. My point is that we cannot (realistically) expect GTA series to prevent sales and take away from popularity of other immersive games.

Watch Dogs is expected to create its own market due to its innovative conceptualization. In-fact, GTA V and Watch Dogs cannot be even directly compared due to major differences in their conceptualization. Similarities between these two games are superficial regardless of them belonging to same genre.

Also, selling point of Watch Dogs is not just graphic fidelity (Make no mistake! Watch Dogs WILL BE one of the best looking games of its genre upon launch) but its innovative gameplay elements.

Also, its not like as if GTA games are immensely popular on the basis of merit; these games are immensely popular on the basis of just fun factor of "open-style gameplay" in modern era setting. GTA 3 was certainly unique in its conceptualization during its time, but the newer ones are just follow-ups with improvements.

Watch Dogs is expected to redefine "open-style gameplay" genre by the way, just like GTA 3 did.

You can understand the concept and the world of Watchdogs and realize that it has a different gameplay style but the mainstream audience will take one look at it and will just label it a "GTA Clone". That's what happens for the most part hence the comparison between WatchDogs and GTA V is not exclusive to PG, it is all over the internet. Since WatchDogs is releasing so close to GTA V, the comparison was inevitable but unlike you, not many people can understand that both games tackle completely different subject matter.

I agree that it was a bit pre-mature to call WatchDogs as R.I.P, but you have to realize that this comment probably came from someone who always thought of WatchDogs as "GTA Clone" and hence after experiencing GTA V and its huge open world among other improvements, he can say in his opinion that WatchDogs will have a tough time to reach such freedom of exploration. Of course, those who know both games can disagree and say that they aren't similar.

Lastly, Ubisoft is a great dev but they have disappointed greatly with their recent games especially Assassins Creed 3. So that's why i don't have high hopes for WatchDogs but i am keeping an open eye on it to see how well it ends up. I am not optimistic about it though.

approx 11~ish hours of game time with 30 percent completion, i'm not someone who needlessly wanders the wilderness looking for bigfoot so times may vary.

Indeed its a Clone, i mean look at Saints Row series, people play it to chill out where GTA Series people play it & wait for it like a mature stuff. To experience the game in every aspect. No offense to Watch Dogs i am also looking forward for it to see how much change they can bring when we compared it to GTA Series but GTA still GTA. I am not a huge fan of GTA,i am die hard fan of God of War Series, but after God of War series if i want to pick a game which i can enjoy its GTA Series

Ubisoft have history of both disappointments and marvels.

The information and hype surrounding Watch Dogs project it to be a marvel thus far. Latest revelations reveal that Watch Dogs is lot more technical and realistic in comparison to any GTA game. Therefore, GTA fans will soon find out that Watch Dogs is not a clone of GTA V, rather very different with its own appeal.

Rockstar really have to work on their information security aspects.......Getting a leaked game before the release is gonna cost them big time.......But then again they put their efforts more towards the actual game rather than keeping their interests safe......
I was thinking that the reason why they are not releasing the game on PC was about their marketing tactics but Crack game availability before the original is just big loss for them........
Why dont PC manufacturing brands bribe rockstar to release this on PC aswell like SONY and MS
Anyways game is looking great, so Hats off to Console guys for their luck......
