gpu not getting enough power

aoa... want to ask what happens if the gpu is not getting enough power will it over heat ? i am having 500w psu for my 7870 but not sure is it delivering gpu enough power or not ... my gpu ideal temp is 48 - 50c.

No it will not overheat but would likely run into issues related to stability such as BSoD as soon as you run something intensive, say Furmark. It may even cause damage to your components. You should run atleast 550 watt PSU with that GPU.

Also the gpu temps if you mean idle is 48_50c is way too much mine 270x at 100% load remains undr 50

Well you'll run in to stability issues and suffer random crashes..
One day you'll wake up, turn the system on and it won't breathe..

It is unlikely to have higher temps related to inadequate power. If your GPU is working fine during gaming then it is getting adequate power.
Download Sapphire Trixx or MSI Afterburner and set a custom fan profile. 50 degrees normally is slightly on a higher side specially when it is still cold in Islamabad.
