Hello! I have amd gpu 5750 with a broken capacitor (probably broken during shifting to new house). Please see the pic below, The Capacitor in the bottom right corner is broken:

anybody on PG can help me get it repair?

(for now i am trying to find & try capacitor with similar specs)

I am not able find capacitor of the same specs, though i am going to install higher capacitance but same voltage.

u can install it yourself?

well try asking support from manufacturers , I think they will tell u , but jitni mujh electronics ati he I think its possible to find out the required capacitance without finding lost one

Use any higher voltage capacitor but keep capacitance same. Change in capacitance can lead to issues if that capacitors jobs is other then filtering power. Also dnt use a capacitor with lower voltage then the one that was already there or it might overcharge and pop/leak

Strange, well i think voltage should be same but capacitance in ~15% range will work fine (I have also read it somewhere on-line). But can you confirm this?

I have found a 16v 330uf capacitor (default one is 16v 270uf), will try this in the evening and post results.

IF that capacitor is used for cleaning power u wont have a problem with higher capacitance. But if that capacitor is filtering then you will definitely have problem by changing capacitance. But what that capacitor is actually doing there no one can tell unless we spend sometimes with it and look at the traces connected to capacitor's + and -.
And its always safe to use higher voltage one.
Just be sure to connect it in correct polarity

Thanks for the explanation, appreciated. (y)

I am able to get the same specs capacitor. Fortunately the card powers up now, some success. :) Cannot confirm if it gives display as power cable for monitor is missing. :/ Will test it tommrow after getting new power cable.
