Hey guys I've got a question about 1MB DSL. Is there a 1x5 ratio at 1MB ? ? ? Means if there are 5 users on a 1MB connection they all will get 1MB speed ? ? ? If the users exceed for eg 6 users. The speed will get divided amongst them, is this true ?

@frostbit3
o there isnt anything like that actually im using a 1mb dsl connection and i get avg 100k down and 22k up... that's a total of 122k and maximum on 1Mbps connection is 128k up+down.

^ Man there is difference b/w synchronous and asynchronous bandwidths I think the one u are using is asynchronous if u used the Synchronous one they gave the same symmetric speed on both ends.

@Frostbite :I heard abt 1/5 and not 1x5. 1 Mb can be divided among five they make a pool but never heard that 5 users get 1 mb and the sixth one enters then 1mb is distributed among them
