Assalam o alaikum.
PACKAGING:
The Gigabyte M6880 V2.0 is not packed in a box it comes with a hard plastic packaging that displays all the aesthetics of the mouse and you get the looks of the mouse, the plastic packaging is okay for a 1.5k mouse. The packaging is good in a sense that the buyer can hold the mouse which enables them to get the feel and gives them the idea of what type of grip it will provide to their hand.
The back of the package display the closer look at dpi switch, weight and back & forward buttons close look.
Score: 2/5
A CLOSER LOOK
Build Quality:
After tearing the plastic packaging you get the mouse in your greedy (greed for gaming) hands. As soon as you hold the mouse you will get the ergonomic feel in your palm.
The top of the mouse is made up of the glossy, shiny plastic which I didn’t liked much because it gives you sweat in your hands though the clicks are great. The mouse wheel has soft rolling, means you can barley feel it rolling when you want it to be, thou it is precise in its position. It also has a button for switching dpi on-the-fly.
Score: 1.5/5
COMFORT:
The size of the mouse is best for palm gripper and as I said earlier it is an ergonomic mouse it gives u firm palm grip when you hold the mouse. On the side where your thumb rests is made up of quality anti-slick rubber with dotted pattern on it also there is a place where your ring finger can also rest which is also made up of same rubber grip. The back and forward buttons are positioned little high and you have to press deep in order for them to act.
Score: 3/5
Performance:
The M6880 performance can only be judged by personal usage and it varies from person to person. It has a high accuracy laser sensor which provides great tracking. The dpi on-the-fly adjustments let you vary from 400/800/1600 dpi according to the requirements. The mouse is no high performance but a moderate mouse which can be used for surfing net, editing photos and for FPS games at intermediate stage.
As far as the weight is concerned it is good for them who don’t have weight issues because it has a fixed 100g.Below it has four feet each at 4 sides made up of Teflon which gives you great feel when you glide the mouse over the pad.
And last of all it’s a USB 2.0 wired mouse, the wire is not braided and it is 1.5m long.
Score: 2.5/5
TECH SPECS:
*It does not require any sort of software you can just plug and play this device on any PC.
CONCLUSION:
The mouse is the best for which price it comes with, though Gigabyte shouldn’t developed its v2.0 just for providing extra 400dpi option instead it should provide 2000dpi option which makes it the best mouse for the price. It’s a good handheld gear if you want to use it within the above sensitivity range and it will surely fulfill your requirements.
