i dont like it when a company goes nuts and start sto dish out boards as if they were candy poppers .

there nerfed there xtreme maxumis line and money wise its as expensive as top tier boards with more options form other oem brands . why nerf it ----

maximis extreme / formula etc ....rgb / cosmetic armour crap ....why they nerfed the extreme is beyond comprehension

Agreed. I was surprised yet disappointed to get that kind of experience from a flagship ASUS board. But then again, some are really happy with it, such as Tom aka Tinytomlogan from OC3D is using Z170 Deluxe in his server and he has no issues at all with the board.

Very right, this time they have gone very wrong with their lineup, and overpriced as compared to competition

Mashallah bro congrats for the purchase but I was under the impression that the extreme edition was AIO water cooled wasn't it ? I am sure these fans will keep it under 70C in winter at least

Thanks bro. This one is the windforce version. There is a waterforce version that comes with the AIO cooler. There is an almost £50 difference in price.

My 5 year old TX 750 was very loud since installing the 980ti. Didnt want to take the risk and power supply upgrade was due, after a lot of deliberation I went ahead with this particular seasonic. It was a close call between this and the evga supernova 1200 p2. I guess I went for the seasonic for the name.

Now waiting for my payday to build up the rest of the system.

Congrats. This is a beauty indeed. Very good purchase. For the record, I'm using Asus Maximus VIII Hero with 6700k and I've not experienced any issue with it. Going buttery smooth.
