The year has been one of the best years for gaming. Games I enjoyed a lot this year

It's right next to FF XVI as a game that wasn't even nominated.

Difference is that no one gave Staaahfield the "second best game of the year" honors. Moment of silence for people who did that with FFXVI tho

That was back in June/July. Many games have released since then, including Spider-Man 2, which is now tied with RE4 as the 2nd best game of the year for me

Not a sweeping statement. It was how I had felt about the game up until that point

Plus, Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Wonder weren't even available back then. My final top 5 looks like this:

Expansions are never nominated for GOTY. This is why the Ongoing and Community Award is for the base game, not PL. Special categories recognizing certain aspects are where it qualifies and it's nominated for Best Narrative and Performance. Moment of silence for "holy sh"t next gen Burning Lulz"

I Nintendon't care because CerebralTiger's primary platform is and always will be PS5. I can monitor that you haven't even finished GTA V and Demon's Souls/Remake. Good enough for me

Also, not even eligible for "Must Play" award which Xbox version of Phantom Liberty is
