[GAME] Cat Burglar - Our First iOS Game Released

Hello All,

It's been a while since I have posted anything on PG but things got really hectic in life. It has been a roller coaster ride since 2009. I am mad about game dev and computer science in general so I have done nothing but games in my entire life and career. I am working at a company here in Karachi called Cygnis Media and we make fun casual games for the iOS platform. Before that I had worked at another company and developed more than 10 games for the iPhone, iPod, and iPad(I will post the links of those games later).

Recently we released our game called 'Cat Burglar' on the App Store. Head over to the the Apple App Store and download it for FREE.

Description

- Cat Burglar is a puzzle game that tests your logic and dexterity.
- Crack digital and analog safes to collect all the item sets.

Cat Burglar is the story of a lovable cat down on his luck. He turns to a life of crime and goes back and forth between the New Cat City and the Old Town to break into houses and crack the safes using his trusty Cat-Like hearing and his handy iPaw. Get busted and go to jail. If you are lucky enough to be able to afford bail you can have another crack at it. Just remember, even cats run out of lives eventually.
- Earn prestige within the burglar community by stealing valuable items that form sets.

- 17 achievements to unlock
- Open Feint ready
- Climb the Game Center leader boards.

There are some crazy game geeks around here in Pakistan who are making a lot of buzz for quite some time in the game dev scene. You all know about TinTash(http://www.tintash.com/) and MindstormStudios(http://www.mindstormstudios.com/) which are two most active game dev houses in Pakistan and they are super cool with very talented minds. Add one more studio to the game dev scene in Pakistan i.e. Cygnis Media aka Cygnis Labs(http://www.cygnismedia.com).

Sweet yar! Great Professional gfx! looks nice!

I know with 10s of 1000s of Free Apps on App Store its hard to get noticed. Selling it at even 99 cents is a BIG Deal! So This seems like a smaller project and can be used for getting some fan following and just raw download Nos.
But do you release all Apps as Free?

I would suggest also releasing an online Flash version of your games which can serve as great promotional tool as Flash games easily do Million of gameplays. Specially if its a paid App!

Thanks aameesha. Basically this was our first game so we launched it for free just so that we get noticed. We have other projects under way which is free but has virtual goods which are purchasable.
