So apparently a FMA movie directed by Fumihiko Sori is under production. The film-cast is all Japanese but the setting is more western. The news came out on kotaku and a bunch of other websites in November 2016.
The film is gonna follow the original storyline but it's yet to know whether it'll follow the Brotherhood or the simple FMA one. Sori said he wants to depict something that's close to the original so i guess they are gonna follow the manga aka Brotherhood one.
