I am afraid your area line cable need to be changed and dp. Give some money to ptcl line man for quick response. And why do you think that wireless devices are unreliable?
Wireless devices have more users as compared to wired ones so their performance deteriorates quite significantly during peak hours. Also, their signal strength is dependent on the weather conditions as well as your location inside your house. They will have higher strength when you have plugged the device where there is some open space and drops indoor.

It took 7 months for me to get connection, name a person who works in fiberlink I didn't contact, I even went far as threatening them of lawsuit, but no use. One day Shuja their deployment head told me, issue is with the management, you come to office and talk to them instead. So I then contacted their CEO and voila! Connection in one day that too on Sunday.
I also heard they have almost 3 to 400 new connections in backlog.

Connection in one day that too on Sunday.
I also heard they have almost 3 to 400 new connections in backlog.

How can I contact their CEO? I am from Lahore and I am guessing CEO will be in Karachi.

By the way, hows your internet working and whats your location?

Got my connection in under 20 days. A few hiccups at the start but as good as it can get if you can't get TW

Lol its a totally trash company. They are so inefficient that they even fail to come to consumer court hearings on time.

After that I probably got only 2 days of uninterrupted service. After that it was always down for some part of the day. After a month or so it became better but after a few weeks it regressed to a new low. I used to call them regularly, but did not get any support. Their customer support team would call me every month and I would explain them the position of the internet. I finally came to the conclusion that the CS team were either trolls or had severe amnesia because they would keep asking the same questions each month but do nothing about the situation. Their router also failed a few months in and they took it back and told me to install my own router lol.
I don't remember when, but I think I filed a consumer court case at-least 3-4 months ago. Pretty sure I will win it, even though it has dragged on for so long.

[MENTION=59795]staticPointer[/MENTION] I never disconnected my PTCL. My 1 year with fiberlink expired in January 2017. It stopped working in 2016 though.
