Fiberlink also been having problems with Streaming etc. I've done loads of testing and have come to the conclusion that either Fiberlink or Transworld is limiting indivividual connections to 100-300KB/s even on my 100Mbps connection. Downloading anything via IDM limited to 1 connection gives 100-300KB/s. Of course opening up 8-16 connections improves the speeds considerably.

My bet is that this is a TW problem as Stormfiber customers are facing similar issues. We can only wait and see (and of course keep on complaining)

Though I'm not on 100 Mbps, I'd like to say PTCL is doing a damn good job at maintaining a consistent 2.6-2.8 MB/s on their GPON connection for me.
I'm on the 20 Mbps package and even with SmartTV and 2 iPads connected in the background, I still managed to get a solid 2.2 MB/s from a server in Canada.

Sad to see TW users are suffering these days [emoji23]

I would gladly shift over to PTCL GPON if it was available here :(
Hopefully, SEA-ME-WE 5 will be up soon and all our problems will be solved. (hoping against hope!)

I wouldn't.

Though this may have fantastic download speeds and good stability, the latency is only a minor improvement from DSL. This still gives relatively high latency on DXB and US servers.
EU too isn't that great, 170-180 ms on BF4 is the lowest I've ever gotten.

Can anyone check if they are having any issue with origin(Pc), I can't seem to connect to the client, Even if it loads it barely works. Working fine on my Ptcl connection. Doesn't even load on fiberlink, I tried changing the router and forwarding the ports but no luck.

If by "the chick" you mean Fiberlink rep calling/emailing customers for feedback, I emailed her a 2 page response listing problems with my connection since installation and a link to this thread.

I think everyone is facing browsing & streaming issues at peak times. I hope things will be much better when SEA-ME-WE 5 will be up & running because SEA-ME-WE 5 have 24Tbps bandwidth which is way much more than all of Pakistan's submarine cables combined at this time (Which is around 7Tbps all combined). Other than that I've seen some improvements in terms of performance from the fiberlink as compare to my earlier experience. Disconnections have reduced to 1 or 2 times a day. Upload & downloads are great except peak hours 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Probably something wrong at my end then... I can't load more than 2 webpages at a time even on 200mb. Thanks for letting me know.
