Is worldcall slow as well?
Disconnected Worldcall couple of months ago, but thinking of getting it reconnected again.

Fiberlink has been OK for the past 24 hours now too.
I don't think Worldcall re-connection would be a wise move. In my area I started facing slowing/no browsing issue in January the duration of slowing browsing/no browsing increased as time passed. In April/May I was only getting 4 hours of uptime in noon. I went to the head office after numerous complains & emails. The person there said disconnect it for a month as we are having issues in you area and reconnect after a month I did as he said. It's been 3 months my area is going through the same issue. Reason because they aren't paying their staff who works in streets. Their pays are pending for like 7 to 8 months & now they are not working.

How do I know this? I called the person I met in office he said yes sir your area is fixed you can get you connection back on. I asked him that whom should I contact for old bill payment & reconnect. He said you can call the person you use to pay bill earlier. I called the bill collector & he said I am not coming to get your bill or reconnect, then he told me about a lot of stuff.

In my opinion we all have to gather & make a strong case against these ISPs in consumer court so we don't suffer in future. As long as we're keeping our mouths shut they are going to keep taking advantage of us & our money. I don't mind if they are taking money or taking advantage of us but in return we need the service/support we payed for & we don't even get that. Their attitude is like we need them they don't need us. (In kay baap kay to sunay kay pahar hain jaha say paisa a raha hai us say inki company chal rahi hai hamare say lia gaya paisa to kuch nahi hai jaisay.)

P.S. It's been more than two months & now I am in line for excuses. I have given them last two weeks to install the connection then I am going for refund if still they don't give me my money back. I am going to consumer court that is 100% confirm because I would not tolerate now enough is enough.

Man... my connection has been down since 8 days... doesnt look lke it will ever get back up. The support always says it will be resolved 'today'. I am looking at other options.

mine's been down for nearly 2 months now they don't care about their customers. have even stopped picking up my calls

My connection went down 2 days ago, stayed down for 24 hours. I called Fiberlink and they sent a guy the same day who fixed it while I was at work.

Your problem must be specific to your location.

Guess your lucky then when i used to call they would tell me that the "team" is working on my problem and that the connection will be up later on in the day (still waiting for that to happen) this kept happening for 3 weeks straight and then i got tired of their games and stopped calling altogether

i do get a call sometimes from FB's feedback department inquiring about my "satisfaction" with the service i tell them my situation, they promise to fix the issue and promptly forget about me the moment i hang up the phone

Honestly i have stopped caring at this point.

Well i think i am heading to that too. I will make my decision by monday... i have no other internet service around my area other than ptcl... i am going to ptcl 30 or 50mbps if the connection is not up by monday.... later would swtich to stormfiber, if and when it is available....

PTCL will only give out those connections within a 1km radius of their exchange, so make sure you are covered.

My connection came back up a day before yesterday after like 3 weeks. A problem I'm experiencing is that after like 15-18 hours my connection starts dropping packets. If I endlessly ping a site it'll drop almost 50-70% of the packets. I did a quick MAC scan and found the model of the equipment they're using, turns out this is an issue with the Mikrotik hardware being used at the backend, so I guess I'm fresh out of luck. It's not them specifically, did a quick google search and a lot of people were complaining of similar issues.

Well i was using their 16mbps before... maybe vdsl or gpon could improve on that

Their team is working in that same area for many days now... they take your money before being present in the area... that is why it takes them a long time... i got installed in may and they said that now they will start to expand in johar town... so march was just too early to pay them

Yeah I wonder why did they say it would take them 30-45 days for installation when they took my money? Now all I can do is wait :(

I just talked to one of their guys who came to fix my connection... he said to get your problem solved quick... you need to phone them repeatedly as they have alwayd about a 100 connections pending.. so the ones who complain a lot get their problem solved quickly... 03153930000 is their whatsapp support number... keep eating their brain daily...

At last got my connection fixed after 11 days... The fiber was damaged at many places and took about 8 hours to trace and fix the problems... anyways, it is up now, thank God...

when did they said k "they dont have refund policy" ?
because when i called a lady said k your cheque will be ready in 2 3 days, since then its been 2 months and every time i called she said k "abi ready ni hua, boss chuti pe hen" and now they stop taking calls
and one time she said k "aur b bandun k refund ki requests hen"
and now they said to you k we dont have refund policy
that's strange
