FAST Query

Hey guys I want to ask the Fastians here (the Karachi ones) as the campus is very far what do you guys do to get home if a situation in which the city is closed down (like it happens almost every month) occurs. How do you guys get home or does FAST provide any service?

Well , I am not a FASTian. My home is not quiet away but still away. I live near airport and it seems to be alot distance from here. Atleast for me.. That's a good question , i am interested in listening answer.

I just got home from FAST Karachi campus actually. It depends on the situation, sometimes they'll immediately cancel remaining classes, get all the buses ready and leave within 10 mins, sometimes if it's only a problem in specific areas they'll keep the buses for that particular area until it's safe to send them, but they always get us home one way or another.

So where and how to they keep the buses and if a situation like the one with Benazir is to occur what happens they do they keep students over night or something?

They have the facilities to keep students overnight if they have to (It won't be fun, but you'll get by). Mostly, they just try to get the students home as quickly and safely as possible.

They keep the buses outside the campus but sometimes they bring them inside the boundaries but the buses typically leave at the same time.
