XBOX Fallout 3 on the 360?

The Feb 2007 issue of OXM has a tidbit that Fallout 3 will be also coming to the 360 and they will more news in the next issue.
Fallout 3 is a sequel to Fallout by Betheasda a very popular and critically accalimed RPG.

According to GamerNews.org, in an exclusive interview with Bethesda, Official Xbox Magazine help shed some light on the next installment in the Fallout franchise. Here's a little from the article:

Speaking to Todd Howard (Executive producer of Oblivion, Morrowind and Fallout) with regard to Bethesda’s plans for 2007 and beyond, he told us; "We started work (on Fallout 3) in late 2004 with a few people. We only had about 10 people on it until Oblivion wrapped, but most of our staff is on it now." Is it wishful thinking that Fallout 3 will eventually be released on Microsoft’s next-gen machine? With the game itself utilizing the same Gamebryo engine as Oblivion, perhaps not. And promised to be as huge and open-ended as their multi-award winning 2006 effort, demand for Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 would be huge.

As you can see, it's very likely that Fallout 3 might come to the Xbox 360, which is really good news for 360 owners. The previous games in the series really kicked ass, but will our wait for this sequel been worth it? Only time can tell, but let’s hope for the best.
