Oh my God.

Harada-san, the creator of Tekken, got on stage and gave premium Hori VLX sticks (signed) to Nin and Reepal "RIP" Parbhoo. After that, he took the mic and basically said "I've been here two days, and I just saw a new guy in the crowd, and I wanna call him on stage". And he calls Yoshinori Ono (creator of SFIV series) on stage.

They had a nice chemistry, with Harada putting Ono on the spot with questions like 'Why did you arrive just now?' (One replying with "I was working on the Dark Void sequel" lol), and 'What are you working on? You said you will announce something on Saturday. Show us something now'.

Basically Ono said 'I said next Saturday, not this one. At Comic-Con. I will give you a hint. If you've been following my twitter, you'd know what I was talking about'.

Looks like Tekken VS SF isn't that far from reality. :S

I'm one of those people, and I stick by what I said. How the hell can you compare SF and Tekken?
If there is a cross-over game, it won't play like SF OR Tekken.
It'll be a half-ass hybrid of both.

Yeah Daigo wins again, I wish Infiltration or Mike Ross had went into the final cuz he would had imposed a greater threat to Umehara. Anyway, no matter Ricky had a MUCH better Rufus player than Justin so he deserved that rematch.

No no. Go ahead. I don't think we need a new thread for them. The SSFIV official thread or SSFIV matchups thread will do.

Ono said something along the lines of "We want people to play Ssf4 for a long time. We will support it. As you know we are working on an arcade version." That just makes it sound like Arcade SSFIV is a totally new game. Like its to console SSFIV what console SSFIV was to SFIV.

I call dibs on the official MvC3 Official thread though. No one will deny me that.

The Tekken connection and news of the updates is enough to make me forget this was a fighting game tourney!

I haven't seen even a single minute of the footage this year; the Evo people have been quick to take down all the stuff that come out on Youtube. And the streams don't work offline, or I've been too lazy to figure out how. But nice upsets, and no Justin or Marn was a bit of a shock. Those two were the first two SF players to be picked up by a proper gaming team that sponsors them; are they in some shit now or what?!

Other than that,I need to see those Mike Ross videos.

Luckily EG signed Ricky at the last minute. So Ricky coming 2nd is good for them.
Curiously, all 3 signups took top spots in the order they were signed in, but took reverse order placements at EVO.

EG signed them in this order: Marn, Justin, Ricky
They placed 1st in this Order: Marn (Devastation), Justin (ESWC. Marn was Second), Ricky (2nd at EVO, while Justin in 9th and Marn couldn't come out of pools).

I saw some of the matches with the stream was working fine, i was impressed with Vangief . I used to think Zangief is a dumb bimbo who is slow and lazy but this guy vangief toally proved me wrong ,never seen a zangief player so freaking quick.
