Entry level dslr

Hi guys.. I like to do some photography in my leisure time.
uptill now i was doing this with mobile phones. But now i want to buy dslr... Can anyone suggest best canon or nikon entry level dslr... I am new to dslr photography so i will rely on your suggestions..

I bought the Nikon D3300 with 18-55 lens for 37k from Nikon Center Saddar Karachi. It is an entry-level DSLR and I find it absolutely amazing.

Yeah i have also heard that its pretty good. But can u tell me that is there any difference in price of canon and nikon lens? My friend suggested me to go for canon as its lenses are cheaper then nikon

Nikon lenses are generally expensive compared to those of Canon, I was made aware of it again and again by my photographer cousin. But I still bought the Nikon D3300, why? because within my budget, it is the best. Canon's 1300D is in the same price range as the D3300, but most reviews on the internet don't see the 1300D standing on the same level as the D3300. The Nikon guy at Saddar (Ghazi Arafat) also shared the same view.
Some people even argue that Canon is easier for newbies to begin with as compared to Nikon. However, I, a complete amateur who bought his first DSLR, had no issue in understanding the button layout and functionalities of the DSLR within a week.

I just bought a nikon d3300. For entry level photography its really amazing. I bought it with a 50mm lens, memory card and a bag that can carry both lenses (The kit lens and the 50mm). It got it for Rs 47000. For me its really enough at the moment, I am using it in family events and using it for friend's engagements and picnics and stuff. its doing amazingly fine.

Lenses for canon are cheap, I bought nikon, because in this price range I had two options, to buy a new nikon d3300 or to go for canon 600D used. as its my first buy. I thought it would be better to get a new one. I am happy right now probably will buy another lens in like a few months if needed. lets see.

if you can afford it easily, then yes. It is better in a lot of ways. But if the difference in price brings it near to D5xxx series then buy that.

which one in D5xxx series is good? but i see some where on internet that 5600 5500 or couple of years old series
