Aoa guys, using nvme drives close to motherboard with minimal airflow will set drives rise to temps which can hinder their performance surely.
so i decided for these small heatsinks after checking some reviews.
below is the unboxing & application process of both my nvme drives.
i used Gelid 1.0mm and 0.5mm pads instead of provided pads with the blocks.
Before nvme heatsinks both drives were reaching 65c+ maximum and 42c minimum.
After nvme heatsinks both drives are now 51c maximum and 30c minimum.
Note : stock thermal pads provided with heatsinks are rated at 3.5 W/mk and Gelid thermal pads are rated at 12 W/mk , i am sure gelid pads are adding 30-40% better thermals.
