I don't like to wait for these kind of price drops, if you will do then the chances are you will keep on waiting for the price changes! becasue computer technology is keep on going ahead and in a few month U will hear cheaper quad core then eight core etc...

BTW can someone tells me how much a less than 300MHz in FBS (front bus speed) makes a prominent change in the system performance? I don't think so there would be a big performance increase in it!

oh well...I am more than happy with my E6600

what r u saying buddy!!!! 300 Mhz increase in FSB will make a Huge difference... haven't u seen the difference between 533-800
1066-1333 will have the same impact

e.g.

533 Mhz bus gives u celeron
800 Mhz bus gives u P4

there is a big difference in performance..... cores are about the same

No offense but this is something new I heard today according to your statement a 533Mhz FBS processor is celeron? how about the pentium-IV 2.8Ghz processor with a FBS of 533Hz? anyway my point of discussion here is not about the difference b/w celeron and pentium-IV because that evolves the Level-Caches and internal architecture stuff..

Also, don't forget that in order to run the new 1333MHz FBS processor U need a board with 1333MHZ support which is not that cheap at the moment..

I think you will see a bit more loading time with 300 mhz less fbus! Most probably there wont be any major performance hit in gamesif you have atleast more than 1gb of ram!

I heard that 1333MHz FSb only make 5 to 8 percent Advantage but the other thing the processor are same prices as 1066

^ and add "ONLY" vista @ 1GB of ram..because if you want to play games and run other application under vista etc U will need min of 2GB RAM..I recommend 4GB of RAM for a vista based system

20K...no a gb of ddr2 costs 3200....so its round 12800 for 4gb...
