Most of you know I moved to Karachi recently and I can't use my smartphone outside because of alot of snatching . I'm not exaggerating this since there has been 3-4 snatching of phones from students of my school in just 50m radius of school . They come outside of the school,leave the "Gali" and there is someone who snatches their phones .
Now ,my physics and chemistry teacher asked us(students) to bring in past papers and most people here print them off however I don't feel the need to BUY past papers when you can get them for free online . I've always been solving past papers online,will always do .
So,I found a blackberry 9530 which works but the battery is dead since it was not in use for almost 3 years and it pretty old I think . Like 4-5 years I believe (maybe more) .
Here is my question . I want to know if the Blackberry 9530 can open PDF files . I read alittle about it on some other forums and found that it can only open PDFs as attachment but cannot open a PDF file . You practically need to spend $20 on an App called RepliGo to open it .
So another thought came into my mind,what if I convert all the past papers from PDF to world/text file . Would that be supported on Blackberry 9530 ?
Or what if I just download a java format of a PDF app and put it in my phone and install it ? Mind it ,the BB I have does not have Wifi ,so I'll have to depend on alot of transfer between my computer and the BB .
If the phone can support either of them,only then would I go ahead and buy a battery for it since battery is dead .
