The stars lined up for the upcoming DC FanDome event include Jason Momoa, Robert Pattinson, Dwayne Johnson, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, and many more.
This month's DC FanDome livestream event has announced the full roster of talent that will be appearing. FanDome was created in 2020 as an online alternative to conventions like Comic-Con that were prevented from taking place in person due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Last year's event included many exciting announcements, including the Synder Cut of Justice League and The Batman trailers and the lineup for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.
The second annual FanDome will take place on October 16 and feature major stars and announcements from across the world of DC comics, movies, TV series, and games. The event starts at 10 AM PST, preceded by the DC Kids FanDome at 9 AM, which is co-hosted by Nandi Bushell and features Robin, Teen Titans, and sneak peeks at more animated shows. 2021 FanDome attendees will also be provided with NFT comic cover collectibles curated by Jim Lee.
DC FanDome has just announced the massive talent lineup for this year's event. Representing Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta). From Batgirl are directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, screenwriter Christina Hodson (who also wrote Birds of Prey and the upcoming The Flash), and Leslie Grace (Barbara Gordon). The Batman appearances include director Matt Reeves, Robert Pattinson (Batman), and Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman). A whole host of Black Adam stars will also be in attendance, namely Dwayne Johnson (Black Adam), Aldis Hodge (Hawkman), Pierce Brosnan (Dr. Fate), Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher), and Quintessa Swindell (Cyclone).
From Blue Beetle are director Angel Manuel Soto, writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, and Xolo Maridueña (Blue Beetle). Injustice is bringing along voice actors Anson Mount (Batman) and Justin Hartley (Superman). The Suicide Squad's director James Gunn, who is also the creator of the Peacemaker spin-off show, and star Flula Borg (Javelin) and Wonder Woman 1984's director Patty Jenkins and star Lynda Carter (Astoria) are rounding out the group. Also joining the fun are The Flash star Ezra Miller and Shazam! Fury of the Gods' Zachary Levi.
There are also a great many people joining from the television division. From Batwheels are AJ Hudson (Robin) and Jacob Bertrand (Bam). DC Super Hero Girls producer James Tucker and star Tara Strong (Harley Quinn) are joining on the animation side as well. The Batwoman talent signed on is Javicia Leslie (Batwoman), Camrus Johnson (Luke Fox), and Rachel Skarsten (Alice). From DMZ are executive producer Ava DuVernay, who is also the creator of Naomi, and writer Roberto Patino. Promoting The Flash's upcoming season 8 are Grant Gustin (The Flash) and Candice Patton (Iris West). Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco (Harley Quinn) and Ron Funches (King Shark) will also be appearing along with Teen Titans Go!'s Scott Menville (Robin) and Hynden Walch (Starfire). Superman and Lois has a big presence which includes Tyler Hoechlin (Superman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Alex Garfin (Jordan Kent), and Jordan Elsass (Jonathan Kent).
Two more huge swaths of actors appearing are likely to be part of panels. The first is from the upcoming HBO Max series Peacemaker, with John Cena (Peacemaker), Freddie Stroma (Vigilante), Steve Agee (John Economos), Danielle Brooks (Leota Adebayo), Jennifer Holland (Emilia Harcourt), and Chukwudi Iwuji (Clemson Murn) appearing. The second is from Supergirl, which will air its series finale later this year. Appearances will include Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), David Harewood (Martian Manhunter), Azie Tesfai (Kelly Olsen), Mehcad Brooks (Guardian), Chris Wood (Mon-El), Jesse Rath (Brainiac-5), Julie Gonzalo (Andrea Rojas), Katie McGrath (Lena Luthor), Nicole Maines (Dreamer), Peta Sergeant (Nxylgsptinz), and Staz Nair (William Dey).
