is it me or half of night city is just empty? I mean sometimes i end up being in a location for a while and then it starts filling up slowly and sometimes it remains a ghost town no matter what..

PS5 has the lowest crowd density. XSX is better in that regard and High setting on PC pushes that further.

Since Opencritic combines reviews for all platforms, in cases such as these (and Arkham Knight on PC for instance), its best to let people know which versions to avoid at launch. Good on them for doing that.

Sony is refusing all refunds and asking to wait til Feb for the patches.
So, CDPR says go ahead with the refund but Sony refuses to do it. Bad guy Sony.

It's not a perfect solution but depends on the chat representative, plenty of people are successfully getting refunded for the broken game.
Sony and MS should just make a universal announcement to avoid bad CDPR PR falling on their shoulders.
The simple issue here is that CDPR didn't use base last gen consoles as, well, the baseline when developing the game. Other developers can also push for better visuals, but if they're targetting weaker platforms as well, they have a responsibility to deliver it in a playable state. CDPR was like, "Screw that! We'll scale from top to bottom, and hope that everything works." Well, tough luck, cuz it didn't lol.
This statement factually applies to the piss poor state of the last gen console versions, yes.
But then you see the bug ridden state of the PC version and imagine what went wrong there. It's not like there was a lack of development time, between numerous delays and well documented crunch. So this really shouldn't have come out looking like a rushed early access game.
Every day my decision to wait till the next-gen patch for the game comes out seems more and more apt. At least with other instances like Days Gone and Outer Worlds and even AC Valhalla, all games mentioned in this topic, they were not nearly this broken at launch and received further optimization patches within days, not weeks or months.
