and that 2nd pic is an upside down Ellie, that whole scene has some real nice character detail you don't see in any other game (character face/lips get sun burnt after a while, blood splat spreads on her clothing in real time etc).
comparing a studio with history of making open world games, to a studio whose creative lead has openly admitted they will only make story driven SP games .. wow kia shocking statement hai
lol why does it being an open world game matter in this case? TLOU2 could've easily been an open world game with the same fidelity. It features a pretty large pseudo-open world section. Only a portion of the world map is loaded into the memory (and hence is being rendered) at a given instance in open world games.
Also pretty noticeable in the screenshot I posted. Besides, the game has a very different visual make-up. A better way to judge its foliage quality will be comparing Spider-Man's foliage quality to Cyberpunk 2077's lol.

So anyway, unlike most of the haters, i actually finished Cyberpunk 2077 yesterday. I'd rate it a 7/10 honestly. It's not bad, it's just underwhelming in it's gameplay aspects. It's storyline is decent & there are some deep moments in the game. The friend/foe relationship between V & Johnny (Keanu) is fun to watch as well. CDPR should've put more effort into it, it could've been a grand game.
I guess they're using the similar upsampling technique they've always used. Just like how Xbox One X renders at a base 1440p resolution then reconstruction makes it to 4K
There was a mod available for Cyberpunk 2077 that let you have sex—or a very unsettling approximation of it—with Keanu Reeves’ character. That mod is gone now.

yes, the benchmarks you shared which showed how a 2060 is reportedly trailing behind in the 1440p/60 FPS mode, and we can't do a proper RT comparison because you can't unlock th FPS on console to see what kind of overhead there is
