So I'll probably be spending a bit of money on a PC next month. Thing is, there tends to be random bits of load shedding/Voltage drops around here, so I was wondering if there are any standard solutions that people opt for regarding this (Don't wanna lose hours of work cause I hadn't saved in a while and I really don't wanna have my stuff friend/damaged).

Don't cheap out on PSU. Get an at least "80plus bronze efficiency" one.

buy a good pure sine wave ups like APC BRAND .. either u can use it for 3 to 5 minutes backup time with internal small rating batteries or u can opt for longer hourly backups by using external batteries ... www.uwt.com.pk .. m using this ups ...
